East Carolina University Chapter of The Coastal Society
Mission
The East Carolina University Chapter of The Coastal Society was organized to encourage the goals of promoting knowledge, understanding, and sustainable use of coastal environments through educational and volunteer activities. We support the educational goals of students and encourage communications with private sector, government and non-profit groups. The ECU Chapter of TCS is affiliated with the PhD Program in Coastal Resources Management and is dedicated to carrying out the mission of The Coastal Society in Eastern North Carolina.
