TCS partnered again with NCAR on a panel discussion about “Finding and Applying to Jobs in the Ocean and Coastal Sciences.” Speakers focused on how to do a successful job search, different application expectations for positions in different sectors, and the range of jobs in the coastal and ocean science sectors. Academic opportunities are often shared with graduate students so our emphasis was on non-academic sectors, including governments, private industry, and the non-profits. Unfortunately, the recording for this event was lost. The recording from a comparable event hosted by NCAR in 2021 is offered in its place.
