TCS committees bring members together to work on programs in support of The Coastal Society’s strategic plan. Establish and maintain relationships with universities around career development activities, and establish and support TCS chapters.

Work across committees to spread the word about TCS programs and ensure brand management. Produce publications and outreach materials

MAD Coastal Career Development Committee
To honor Margaret A. Davidson, who mentored many of today’s coastal professionals, this committee plans a series of career development workshops to benefit early- and mid-career professionals and the next generation of coastal practitioners.

Coastal Connections Committee
The Coastal Connections Web Conferencing Series provides opportunities to learn about interdisciplinary coastal issues, diverse professions and career pathways, and connect with others in the coastal sector. The Coastal Connections series currently includes two formats: Trending Topics (open to all) and Professional Spotlights (for members).

Development Committee
Plan Annual Giving Campaign, seek new sources of funding, and support other committees with identifying funding for new programs
