The Coastal Society's 22nd International Conference was held at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside, Wilmington, North Carolina.

Over 300 people participated in the conference events, attending provocative plenary sessions, presenting at concurrent educational sessions, exchanging thoughts during luncheon table topic sessions, and networking at three evening receptions. The high quality of discussion was a result the caliber and expertise of the attendees.
