STUDENT AWARDS PROGRAM

The Coastal Society actively supports opportunities for students to present emerging concepts and enrich the coastal community’s collective knowledge. Student awards provide a means of acknowledging the best student paper, poster and presentation. Awards will be presented at The Coastal Society 19th International Conference.

Students wishing to submit papers or posters for consideration for these awards should indicate so on their abstract submission. Students interested in awards or travel scholarships should contact Dr. Ariel Cuschnir, the Education Committee Chair.

Three student awards will be presented - the Society's Thomas E. Bigford Student Awards (for Paper and Poster) and the Sea Grant Association Award.
